Hideo Tahara establishes an iron factory in Tokyo.

1961
The company is incorporated as Tahara Iron Works Co., Ltd.

1967
The office and factory moved to Edogawa-ku Tokyo.

1969
The company is reorganized as Tahara Engineering Co., Ltd. and wholly owned by Kanematsu Corp. with a capital of 20,000,000yen.

1971
Osaka Office is established.

1972
Nagoya Office is established.

1974
Merges with Shoei Industrial Machinery Ltd. and changes its name to Tahara-Shoei Engineering Ltd.

1984
Expands the assembly factory.

1988
Increases the capital to 50,000,000yen.

1989
Changes its name to Tahara Machinery Ltd.

1995
Establishes comprehensive business alliance with a German company Battenfeld-Fischer.

2000
Hitachi Zosen Corporation becomes the shareholder.

2002
Constructs the second assembly factory.

2006
The Japan Steel Works, LTD. becomes the shareholder.

2010
Tahara signs a licensing agreement with an American company Graham Packaging Company L.P.

2019
The office and factory moved to Inzai Chiba.
